This is not the first time they have tried to sway public opinion through false propaganda. Many of these type of events were run by the Greens led 'Rethink The Link' lobby group to promote propaganda and help win votes for the last State election. At one previous meeting prior to the election "The Outer Habour - An Alternative to Roe 8" the community were invited to join Mayor Brad Pettit and Mayor Carol Adams and learn about the Outer Harbour, a viable alternative to the Roe 8 Freight Link for Fremantle and Kwinana. The meeting was recorded and put on the Fremantle council website. Problem was Mayor Pettitt had all the pertinent questions around the truth (That Mayor Pettitt agreed with on the night) censored and edited. How the universities can sit by and let the likes of these academics present such false research without condemnation is beyond words. The same academics from a group of 10, that led activist to call employers of Proe Roe supporters employers to have them sacked. Don't let their lies go unchecked.
