As the first stage of Roe 8, please make your views known on the attached survey. $1.2 billion has been set aside as a contingent liability in the federal budget for Roe 8 & 9. The road will happen by the next election depending on the Government motivations at the time. Pressure must be maintained to encourage the State Government not to be led around by the nose by the Greens and nimby self interest. The state and federal governments have proposed to build the Murdoch Drive Connection between the existing Roe Highway at Kwinana Freeway and the Fiona Stanley Hospital/Murdoch University complex.
