Today was the meeting with the board members from DRMA, thankfully we had representatives who were able to attend the meeting and speak on behalf of the animals from the rescue as well as on behalf of the local residents living in that area.
Below you will find the update provided to me by one of the representatives.
"It went well. Everyone was cordial. Two others were there to speak on behalf of Melissa and her neighbors. We were told that plans for the gun range are still in the initial phase and negotiations are ongoing."
This battle is far from over but I'm confident we can be heard. Keep praying, keep pushing, keep standing up for the animals, the residents, and or county!
