720 signatures. 720 stories. We’re not done.
First off – thank you. 720 of you have already raised your hand to say that what’s happening to scabies patients is not acceptable. That’s 720 people who now know that “just scabies” can become chronic, disabling, and completely life-derailing when the system refuses to see it.
Since launching this petition, a lot has happened in my own case:
My medical history now includes a documented “parasite infection” and months of treatment with standard drugs that didn’t work.
I’ve pulled together a full medical dossier showing how long-term infestations are being missed, dismissed, or mislabeled as “delusional.”
I’ve begun filing formal complaints with state and federal bodies about how resistant scabies and parasitic disease patients are falling through every crack in the system.
I’m not doing this just for myself. I’m doing it because there are thousands of people worldwide stuck in the same nightmare – with no clear pathway to care, no research funding, and no serious acknowledgment that drug-resistant scabies and neglected parasitic diseases are a real and growing problem.
Why your signature matters right now:
I’m pushing this petition to 1,000 signatures so I can: Put it in front of hospital leadership, public health agencies, and researchers as proof that this isn’t “one anxious patient” – it’s a pattern.
Use it as part of a broader push for: better diagnostics,
more research into resistance, and
real protocols for patients who don’t respond to first-line treatments.
How you can help today:
Share the petition with one group that would “get it” – chronic illness communities, parasitic disease/NTD groups, or anyone working in medicine or public health.
Add a short comment when you sign or share. Real stories and real voices make this impossible to ignore.
If you’ve been dismissed, gaslit, or told to “figure it out yourself” with an infestation: you are not crazy, and you are not alone.
We’re at 720. Let’s get this to 1,000 and force the conversation that should have started years ago.
Thank you for standing with me and with everyone living through resistant scabies and neglected parasitic disease.
