Thank you again for signing this petition and Fukushima Fallout Awareness Network hopes you will share it again and again. You are one of the relatively few people in the world who know that the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics Torch Relay is planned to start in Fukushima Prefecture, at J Village (former disaster HQ during the 2011 Daiichi nuclear meltdowns) in the town of Naraha. And now Becquerel Awareness Day 2019 will help inform more people of what is happening in Japan with 2020 Olympic plans underway. But we need your help.
Officials are attempting to "reconstruct" Japan's reputation by inviting the world to the doorstep of the largest ongoing nuclear disaster in history in the summer of 2020. It would be far better to assist those who remain seriously affected by the nuclear meltdowns that began in March of 2011.
This is your chance to help further the goal of this petition by following @FFAN4u and joining our event on Facebook at http://bit.ly/BADevent2019 on 4/10 - 4/14. Watch for a new animation video and more featuring FFAN's very own Geiger Girl and Becquerel Boy. Their message is clear: "No Olympics or Paralympics OR TORCH RELAY in Radioactive Fukushima!"
Thanks for reading. See you at the event!
