Respected sir/ma'am,

We the students of medical profession urge you to reconsider your decision regarding implementation of next examination.

 

Final year is the most stressful year for medical students all over India and with the upcoming notice of next exam the stress has been increasing multifold.

 

I hope our country is hoping to prepare better quality doctors for healthcare who can work effectively in multidisciplinary approach but the approach the country is taking is not resulting in increased quality but increase in stress to every final year student in the country right now.

 

For taking such a step the student must be informed officially in a written notice atleast one year before and in the current case scenario they are being informed at very last,the stage at which everything has been planned by students for their final exams and changing everything is practically not possible for a normal human.

 

Destroying mental health of thousands of students for any kind of benefit is not justified at any cost and under all circumstances this exam must be withheld atleast for 019 batch for actually producing quality doctors and not a government run machine.

 

It's a humble request to Dr VK Paul sir,Dr Srinath Reddy sir,Dr Suresh Sharma sir, Respected prime minister Narendra Modi sir to listen to the pleading students all over the country and withheld next for 019 batch with utmost urgency if you really care about the mental health of medical students which has already been declining due to numerous reasons in the last years.

 

On one hand we plead to boost niti ayog(the national institution for transformation of india) for improving public health by strict measures and on the other hand we are here strongly destroying the mental health of the foundation of good health creators.

 

It's a request from every person involved in medical community to withheld next for 019 batch if you really want to see positive consequences for healthcare profession.
