This video was just suggested to me that shows the horses in these events are harmed as well in these barbaric events. Whomever filmed caught it so not only are the calfs hurt but so are the horses. These events need to stop.
The delaware county fair should now be determining their event lineup for 2023 so there is plenty of time for them to cut whatever contract with the rodeo company. The fair can make its own money by hosting their own events, and if those in charge would stop acting like babies and take my advice the fair would do much better financially.
The violence in that county continues to grow yet they still play dumb founded as to why. When you teach kids violence, when you glorify it with events, and promote it to kids as a fun acceptable form of entertainment, well...they see harming people as even more fun and entertaining.
former animal shelter director who participated in the hog wrestling is now serving a prison sentence due to him molesting a child, child porn, etc. When the director of an animal shelter, who has regular individuals arrested for harming animals, while harming animals himself for entertainment, and the county applauds it, and allows it, well you get all the violence and corruption in delaware because of those running the county/city.
They need to drop this event in 2023 and never hold another event that harms animals again.
