Hays Manor is slated to be demolished in the near future

As a resident of McKees Rocks I am standing up and saying NO MORE! 

McKees Rocks has carried much more weight than is reasonable for nearly 7 decades. 3 Housing projects out of the 58 in the county. 3 out of 58 dumped in one of 130 municipalities. And now there is talk of tearing one down that has 138 units and replacing it with 240 Units in McKees Rocks. 

McKees Rocks will never prosper if it continues to be inundated with government housing. 

 “Section 8”, Housing Choice Voucher Program and Housing Projects are supposed to help families move out of broken urban neighborhoods to places where they could live without the constant threat of violence and their kids could attend good schools.

Continuing to build housing projects in McKees Rocks, issuing choice vouchers and approving section 8 rentals in McKees Rocks Borough goes against every principle that our federal government created these programs for. 

It is time we ALL stand up and say NO MORE!  Please join me by signing this petition. Let your voice be heard,  

Please join us on Friday July 21, 2023, at 10:00 AM  301 Chartiers Ave McKees Rocks, PA 15136 at the Allegheny County Housing Office to protest and tell them “NO MORE". Bring your signs and let them know WE will NOT Back Down.
