Ogie's Trailer Park just applied for a "Special Events Permit" and was GRANTED through the Art, Culture, and Tourism Department to expand their outdoor "entertainment" without notifying the surrounding neighborhood.

For years now the Owners of Ogie's Trailer Park (Daniel Becker) have violated and flaunted City Noise Ordinances. The ADVERTISED Sunday night DJ can be heard well beyond the 200ft limit and often going on after 10PM sometimes until after 2AM. The bass beats can be felt for blocks surrounding the property. Repeated calls to Providence Police, PVD311, the Board of Licensing, and the City Council have not managed to completely stop them from continuing or pursuing more nuisance noise. Too often when complaints are called in, if-and-when Police address the calls Ogie's resumes the noise soon after Police leave the area! 

This Residential Neighborhood's quality of life is severely impacted by Ogie's noise. This is a family neighborhood with children, elderly, and working adults and we are done with how Ogie's disrespects our peace.

We, the Neighbors of 1155 Westminster Street are asking that the City of Providence revoke Ogie's Trailer Parks license for any entertainment, live music, DJ, and even the food order loudspeaker. All noise from the property must stop at 9:59PM on the dot.

We do not want a nightclub in our neighborhood anymore!
