When I was a kid there was a sign at the entrance of every park. It said NO MOTORIZED VEHICLES.

Now the sign at the park entrance should say, PEDESTRIANS ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Our parks should be safe havens where people of all ages can enjoy nature and engage in leisure activities. However, the increasing presence of motorized vehicles in these spaces is threatening everyone's safety and tranquility. 

I am deeply concerned for the safety of the children, elderly, and everyone who cherishes these green spaces. 

To address this concern, we propose designating walking and cycling-only zones in parks. Installing clear signage and barriers at park entrances can effectively prevent motorized vehicles from entering these areas. By working with local authorities and park management, we can transform our parks back into the safe and peaceful places they are meant to be.

Join us in advocating for the safety and well-being of everyone who uses our parks. We urge the local government to prioritize pedestrian-friendly policies and to enforce strict measures against motorized vehicle entry in parks. Together, we can protect our community spaces and ensure they remain safe havens for all.
