In the Dark of the Valley Documentary: 

• Sponsored nearly 300 tickets so residents and students could screen the film online and hosted online Q&As immediately after
  Attended four film festivals Q&A sessions to educate audiences after the viewings
  The documentary is currently streaming on NBC, MSNBC, and Hulu Plus 
  Over 1,000,000 households in America have watched the documentary! 

Co-hosted Environmental Justice Protest in Sacramento: 

• Organized event with the the California Environmental Justice Coalition
  Parents Against SSFL created graphics, website, and social media kits for the event
  Over twenty-four environmental justice groups from across California attended

Woolsey Fire Soil and Ash Study: 

• Coordinated press release for the Woolsey Fire Soil and Ash Study that showed radioactive contamination from the SSFL reached local communities
  Educated the community about the study’s findings 

Met with Elected Officials:

Parents Against SSFL attended productive Zoom meetings with the offices of city, county, state, and federal elected officials including:

5,000 candy canes in 5 hours

• With the help of some very jolly volunteers and a generous host, we were able to give candy canes and notes about Parents Against SSFL to nearly 5,000 people at the Woodland Hills Candy Cane Lane the weekend before Christmas.
