Our community has been devastated for 60 years...but they're just realizing it. Everyone assumed their thyroid disorders, autoimmune diseases and cancers were a strange coincidence. The common denominator of these people is that they lived within fifteen miles of the Santa Susana Field Lab, one of America's worst nuclear meltdowns.

The EPA and epidemiological reports already exist (one study cost American taxpayers $40 million dollars) and the dangerous chemical and radioactive contamination is well documented...but it was swept under the rug by Boeing, NASA and the federal Department of Energy, because they didn't want to pay for the cleanup they're responsible for.

My family and I have lived with the daily threat of being exposed to contamination, the same as all the people in our community. But we've had enough and we're fighting back. We refuse to wait another 60 years to be safe. But instead of becoming bitter, we're throwing a free, family-friendly event to unite our community.

This Saturday, July 13, we'll be hosting "Rock the Cleanup," at Rancho Tapo Community Park in Simi Valley, from 10:00am -12:00pm.

We'll have $1 shaved ice, games, prizes, and guest speakers. We've invited the whole community to come and paint rocks with us. We'll use the rocks to create a permanent memorial to show that we still want the 100% cleanup.

If you live too far away, you can still help! We'd love it if you'd paint a rock and mail it us. Rocks must be received by July 26, 2019 to be included in the memorial.
