IXL has ruined my and other kids learning. I bet I can talk for lots of other kids when I say IXL makes life more stressful. The Smart Score system is rigged. Every time you get a problem right in the challenge zone your score goes up 2-4 points but if you get one wrong in the challenge zone your score goes down 6-9 points. Some questions also only have 2 gender options. This can make trans or non-binary people feel very uncomfortable. The diagnostic is also rigged. If you get 10 problems correct in a row your score doesn't go up at all but if you get one wrong your score will most likely drop 10 points. All in all, IXL is ridiculous. We should get it banned in all schools in the US for the sake of kids sanity!
