In recent years, generative artificial intelligence tools have been quietly integrated into everyday applications such as Instagram and others. Many users did not choose these features; they were simply exposed to them.

We believe that every user should have the freedom to decide how and when to use AI tools. Choice is respect, for the individuality, preferences, and autonomy of those who use these platforms.

We ask the European Parliament to consider including the following measure in the AI ACT Regulation: all apps that integrate AI features must provide, within their settings, a dedicated section to enable or disable these features individually: whether they are chatbots, auto-suggestions, or other interface tools.
