Queremos compartir con ustedes una buena noticia y una gran oportunidad para seguir avanzando en nuestra lucha por los derechos de los animales.

La semana pasada, Sintientes se reunió con el diputado del PRO, Damián Arabia, quién impulsó el apodado proyecto de “Ley Conan”, que propone modificaciones en la actual Ley 14.346 de maltrato animal.

Nuestro Equipo Legal conformado por Leonardo Barnabá y Graciela Fayt, ofreció su colaboración y acercó el proyecto de Ley Sintientes a los efectos de aunar criterios y trabajar en conjunto para establecer mejorías y ampliar la mirada sobre los demás animales como sintientes y sujeto de derecho.

Porque creemos que es URGENTE un cambio sustancial en la ley de maltrato animal.

Te pedimos por favor que nos ayudes firmando y compartiendo nuestra petición, para que todos los animales dejen de ser considerados “cosas” en el Código Civil y Comercial Argentino.

SINTIENTES AND THE CONGRESSMAN BEHIND THE CONAN LAW TOGETHER!

We've got some exciting news to share, which is also a huge opportunity to keep pushing forward our cause for animal rights.

Yesterday, Sintientes met the author of the “CONAN LAW” proposal, Congressman Damián Arabia (PRO). This proposal seeks to amend the current legislation on animal abuse (Law 14.346).

Our Legal Team, led by Leonardo Barnabá and Graciela Fayt, offered their insight and expertise to introduce the Sentient Law project, with the aim of finding common ground. Together, we want to make improvements and expand the scope to other animals so that they are declared sentient and subject to law.

We believe a material change on animal abuse legislation is URGENT.
