On Friday June 24th of 2022, Roe v. Wade was overturned. Just 10 days before July 4th, a day to celebrate the “freedom” that lies within the United States of America, but women’s rights, OUR FREEDOM was taken from us. So today, I ask you; women, mothers, sisters, wives, men, husbands, fathers, brothers, friends, and allies to join me in this petition. 

I am asking the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta and the Albuquerque Isotopes to not hold their annual fireworks show this July 4th.  Join us, women, in our fight against our own government who has taken a basic Human Right from us. Against our “leaders” who have set us back 50 years. 

Although New Mexico is a blue state and Roe v. Wade will not be thrown, we need to stand up, speak up in whatever way we can against the states who will. Show our support for the women across our country. 

It is not only women who are affected by this outrages act. It is men as well. This affects your mothers, wife’s, sisters, daughters.
