Together, we did it!! The community raised over $14,000 in just one month, allowing PHCPA to remain in the fight against City of Industry! You all are amazing! I can't even begin to express how proud I am of all of you!

Thank you to everyone who took an action, such as making a donation, buying a yard sign, buying donuts, going door-to-door at homes & businesses, telling a friend about this topic, liking a social media post, commenting on neighborhood apps, etc. All of these small actions add up to BIG CHANGE!

Community Spotlight
I recently learned that local residents have been delivering impressive personal initiatives to get the word out about the data center and BESS, and I wanted to take a moment to recognize their leadership and efforts.

Irene, a long-time resident of Hacienda Heights, recently went door-to-door handing out flyers to about 300 residents in her community. She is saddened to see our community under threat from irresponsible actions by City of Industry, and is calling upon more residents to get involved. "Ultimately, we have to advocate for ourselves," says Irene. "There is no one else."

Dave, a Rowland Heights resident and former sales person, has been visiting businesses all along Colima Road and the surrounding areas, speaking with business owners and displaying flyers on shop windows. His enthusiasm and hope is contagious in the best way.

I had no idea these two were working so hard to protect our community until they told me. Thank you, Irene and Dave, for raising awareness in our community! We are honored to be your neighbors, and grateful to have your support!

Small Community Meeting, Nov. 5th
I'll be hosting a small community meeting at 7 pm on Thursday, November 5th, at Aroma Craft Coffee. Come chat with me over a coffee or tea. Our Jade Phoenix yard signs will be available to purchase and pickup on-site.
