Selenium Pollution in the Elk Valley!

Within this alarming article is a film by The Narwhal about the critical levels of selenium in the waterways of the Elk River down stream into Montana. Water birds have deformed feet and fish are mutant and dying. What is selenium doing to we/the people living here in the Elk Valley?
