Wow. We reached 100 supporters for this petition in a few short days. I did not expect that. Thank you to everyone who signed! Since many people have not left specific comments, I am assuming that this support is coming from outside the immediate community. That's wonderful that so many people are concerned about preserving open space habitats. I would again encourage any residents who live near Canyon Hills Open Space to leave specific feedback about your concerns. I would also encourage you to attend the Mira Mesa Recreation Council's monthly meeting on September 13, 2016 at Lopez Ridge Recreation Center from 7:00pm-8:30pm where the MMRC is supposed to speak about plans for changing Canyon Hills Open Space into a resource-based park.
