Students are the main beneficiary of this petition. Nowadays, face-to-face classes is implemented in the Philippines. Classes take 8 hours a day, 5 times a week. Senior highschool students take 8.25 units every quarter, and the workload of schoolworks becomes overwhelming and tiring. This results to fatigue and eventually affects the students’ physical and mental health as well as their ability to learn. Students need to rest even just on weekends in order for them to relax and have quality time with their families. 8 hours per weekday of studying in school is already enough, students deserve time for themselves for them to spend it on their hobbies or interests.
