Siamo alla solita, infinita battaglia: il singolo cittadino che deve difendersi dal gigante industriale e dalla cecità di alcune norme legislative. Ma quando i singoli si uniscono, si può trovare la forza per fare la differenza. Leggete e firmate.

La Regione Lazio sta esaminando la richiesta di un parere su un progetto di una centrale agrivoltaica dell’estensione di circa 40 ettari con una potenza di picco pari a 16,8 Mwp (dati enormi) sotto Trevinano (VT), borgo medievale di 80 abitanti situato in Alta Val di Paglia all’incrocio tra Lazio, Umbria e Toscana e prospiciente la Val d’Orcia, patrimonio UNESCO. La beffa ulteriore è che un impianto fotovoltaico di tale portata si pone in netto contrasto con il progetto finanziato dal MIC con i fondi PNRR “Attrattività dei Borghi – Linea A”, di cui Trevinano è risultato aggiudicatario, per il recupero, consolidamento e valorizzazione turistico-ambientale della frazione: praticamente spendere 20 milioni di euro di denaro pubblico in (tra le altre opere) strutture turistiche panoramiche sul verde che poi si ritroveranno invece ad affacciarsi... su un mare nero di pannelli privati!

Il progetto dell'agrivoltaico è in fase embrionale ma molto pericoloso, viste le parti coinvolte: l’unica possibilità per cambiare le cose è AGIRE repentinamente e in via preventiva, dunque adesso.

La presentante è una società privata, che in quanto tale ha mero scopo di lucro e nessun interesse nei confronti della collettività. L’area prescelta è di elevato pregio paesaggistico, accanto alla Riserva Naturale del Monte Rufeno, uno dei parchi più estesi del centro Italia; un’area piena di paesini, stradine, animali selvatici e aria pulita, in cui negli ultimi decenni vi si è molto investito con l’obiettivo di un’offerta turistica di qualità. E ogni scelta è stata compiuta secondo rigide norme ambientali e architettoniche, in perfetta armonia con lo scenario e la natura circostanti. Così deve rimanere.

E questa non è solo la nostra opinione: lo afferma l’articolo 9 della Costituzione italiana, che considera il paesaggio sullo stesso piano del patrimonio storico e artistico.

Perché il paesaggio non è solo di chi lo abita. Il paesaggio è un bene comune e appartiene a tutti.

I pannelli saranno posizionati accanto alle case, sotto i giardini, lungo le vigne e gli uliveti, offendendo la dignità e lo sguardo quando si percorrono le magnifiche strade interpoderali; e il commento sarà sempre lo stesso: “Che bellezza questo posto, peccato che la miopia e l’interesse economico lo abbiano scempiato”.

Nel 2010 un impianto molto più piccolo è stato respinto dalle autorità competenti. Ma purtroppo ci riprovano e probabilmente ci riproveranno ancora. Questa volta possiamo e dobbiamo avere un ruolo fondamentale per fermare lo scempio. Per favore firmate e fate firmare.

No to Agrivoltaics when it Destroys a Territory of Great Landscape Value

Again, it’s the usual, never-ending battle: the individual citizen’s need to defend him/herself from an industrial giant and the blindness of some legislative provisions. But when individuals get together, they can find the strength and make a difference. Read and sign.

The Lazio Region is examining the request for an opinion on a project for an agrivoltaic power plant extending over approximately 40 hectares with a peak power of 16.8 Mwp (huge!) under Trevinano (VT), a medieval village of 80 inhabitants located in Alta Val di Paglia at the crossroad of Lazio, Umbria and Tuscany and overlooking Val d'Orcia, a UNESCO heritage site. The further insult is that a system of this size is in stark contrast with the project financed by the MIC with the PNRR funds "Attratività dei Borghi - Linea A", for which Trevinano was awarded, for the recovery, consolidation and tourist-environmental enhancement of the hamlet. Basically 20 million euros of public money is being spent for panoramic structures (inter alia) overlooking a green valley that will find themselves overlooking... a black sea of ​​private panels instead!

The agrivoltaic project is in its preliminary phase but very dangerous, given the parties involved: the only possibility to change things is to ACT quickly and preventively, therefore now.

The subject involved is a private company, which as such has a mere profit motive and no interest in the community. The chosen area is of high landscape value, next to the Monte Rufeno Nature Reserve, one of the largest parks in central Italy; an area full of villages, streets, wild animals and clean air, in which in recent decades much has been invested with the aim of a quality tourist offer. And every choice has been made according to strict environmental and architectural standards, in perfect harmony with the surrounding scenery and nature. And this is how it has to remain.

And this is not just an opinion: it is stated in Article 9 of the Italian Constitution, which considers the landscape on the same level as historical and artistic heritage.

Because the landscape is a common good and belongs to everyone, not only to those who live it.

The panels will be placed next to the houses, under the gardens, along the vineyards and olive groves, offending the dignity and the view of those who will travel along the magnificent inter-farm roads; and the comment will always be the same: "What a beauty this place is, too bad that short-sightedness and economic interest have ruined it".

In 2010 a much smaller installation was rejected by the competent authorities. But unfortunately they are trying again and will probably try again. This time we can and must play a fundamental role in stopping the devastation. Please sign and have others sign.
