NIS (Nippon Ichi Software) has yet to officially release any of the music from the Disgaea franchise of games onto music streaming platforms, such as Spotify, Youtube Music, etc. They have only released the music onto CDs, and as we all know, CDs are not as popular as they were in the 2000s, most of us have moved on to streaming music instead, as it is more convenient compared to using CDs and offer different ways to listening music instead on one disk, such as only adding the songs you enjoy and leaving out the others that you did not enjoy as much, among other things.

We, as the fans and the community, should start pushing for this to happen, so we could finally listen to our favorite songs from these games on our music streaming platforms, to listen to on the go, and to mix in other songs we enjoy.

With the upcoming release of Disgaea 7 near the end of this month, now is a good time to start. If we don't reach our goal or don't even get close to, it is fine. NIS will most likely release the music anyways in the near future, it is just that we should push it to be released earlier.
