I want to address a few things for all 5,800 of you who have signed this petition, and those of you who have not or will sign it in the future.

1. Nobody who signed this petition is foolish for voicing their opinion. In a situation like this, a petition’s core motive is to unite people who want a cause to succeed under a single banner and display the significance of our opinion through the weight of numbers.

2. To those who say to “speak with your wallet, not with your voice”, there are two important points I would like to make. Firstly, we SHOULD speak with our wallets. Until this situation is addressed and unless it is resolved, the Pokémon community should NOT pre-order Sword and Shield, nor should they purchase the games when they come out. However, if we stay silent about why, the profit losses will be meaningless. It is important to speak AND to close our wallets.

3. Share, share, and share again. Suggestions for how to share are in the last update, but as a TL;DR - link to this petition wherever it is relevant, and use #BringBackTheNationalDex as we pour out our frustration towards Pokémon and GameFreak.

4. Send emails to famous news sites that deal with gaming. The more people sending our petition to them, the more likely it is to be noticed. Same with YouTube! Share with youtubers however you can. Keep the movement alive!
