Starting the spring semester at High Point University in 2018, the University switched ketchup providers from Heinz to a healthier option. While this may be a cheaper and smarter alternative in order to make the students at HPU healthier, it frankly does not taste good. The ingredients of the ketchup is different than Heinz, and had a significant taste difference that is highly noticeable. Due to the change, I personally no longer eat the ketchup that High Point University offers to its students. I call upon the university to switch back to the Heinz ketchup originally served to students, as it tastes more profound, looks more delightful, and gives more meaning to the #1 Best Food In The South Award that has been awarded to the University for the past years.
