Throughout the world, there are terrible circumstances that leave youth vulnerable to predators who leverage legitimate daily activities against adults and children for purposes of harming and assaulting children/youth over a long period of time. This method is commonly known as a ‘grooming process’ and is known around the world by seasoned professionals who deal with childhood sexual assault cases from lawyers to law enforcement as well as sexual assault survivors who naturally grow older. 

For over the last hundred years of technologically advanced recorded history there are almost no recorded instances of a predator’s predetermined grooming process, let alone a brainstorming session of one. Furthermore, from the amount of sexual assault victims in the known world, the amount of convictions for minor John and Jane Doe’s, are only a tiny fraction. From the Indigenous survivors of sexual assault in North America, to the Catholic church’s worldwide childhood sex scandals, and recently the over 80 thousands John and Jane Doe’s registered complaints to the Boy Scouts of America, there remain almost no scientific research methods into a ‘grooming process’ that has an ending in a conviction. Needless to say, many of the sexual assault survivors that have surmounting evidence will never see a conviction applied against their predators.

As adults it is clearly a mature standpoint to see the obvious, that children are vulnerable in settings where youth congregate from predators. The entertainment industry is no exception to the rule either, everywhere children wish to congregate in innocent groups such as sports, religious institutions, first time jobs, etc., predators will follow. 

For the betterment of the public and concerned parents, it is a great public service for the community of sexual assault survivors and large institutions who tailor to children to exchange notes in an open scientific research discussion to develop methods and procedures aimed directly at the world-wide known ‘grooming process’ (as well as other methods), in order to create prevention measures for environments where youth naturally congregate. It is something we should consider as adults with a history of childhood sexual trauma and institutions that have a history of being victimized by predators using grooming processes or other predatory techniques. Individually fighting against predators will be and has been proven to be useless at preventing predators assaulting children. Together as a large community, utilizing the scientific method, we can exploit the number one tool used by predators, the ‘grooming process’ as well as others and publicly release vulnerabilities to fight against methods predator’s use to alienate their prey and abuse them.

Nickelodeon, please consider the instance of the documentary “Quiet on Set” and think about the anomaly of this case when compared to the millions of victims of childhood sexual assault around the world. No one from the “Dancing boys of Afghanistan” will ever see a conviction of their predators. Tens of thousands of indigenous youth forced into assimilation programs and endlessly sexually assaulted throughout their lives will never see a conviction of their predators. Countless victims from the Catholic Church’s missionaries will never see a conviction of their predators. Tens of thousands of victims from the Boy Scouts of America will also never see a direct conviction of their predators. With all the above stated childhood sexual assault incidences with insurmountable evidence, hundreds of books written on each subject and thousands of credible witnesses, convictions of the predators remains very rare. Never before has a train wreck of a ‘grooming process’ been recorded in such detail as the one that Nickelodeon has on record, and furthermore, one that has led to two known convictions of predators. What Nickelodeon has on record is an anomaly in terms of childhood sexual assault victims versus predators cases. Nickelodeon has on record, a premeditated vision statement of a predator’s fantasy designed and implemented directly onto a John Doe, with trials and errors. With a timeline of events, credible witnesses falling victim to being unwilling accomplices in the predator's techniques, as well as an untold amount of footage of the nightmare for the John Doe happening in real time. It is for these reasons many wise adults would ask you as an institution to take a pause and consider taking the following actions for the benefit of vulnerable children in North America and throughout the world.

1. A statement was made that there have been 'safeguards' implemented in the workplace at Nickelodeon. It would be a great public service to release those safeguards you have learned are necessary from this incident with as much details for reasons why, as possible, at the very least to your website here for public review and use: https://www.nick.com/nick-helps
   
   
2. Work in tandem with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) to share as much detail as possible about the lessons learned and safeguards you had to implement to protect children in the working environment of the entertainment industry.
   
   
3. Implore on OSHA the necessity to instantiate a new group inside OSHA that is specifically for preventing the worldwide known disease of sexual assault against children/youth by predators. Have them update the safeguards here on their website: https://www.osha.gov/young-workers
   
   
4. Create a community driven open research project with the public of matured sexual assault survivors, professionals relating to the betterment of victims of said trauma, academic and research professionals who are familiar with investigations; to dissect the train-wreck that occurred at Nickelodeon for purposes of isolating the one anomaly of; recorded design, development, and implementation of a ‘grooming process’ by two predators that led to two convictions. Include law professionals as well that can rewind the process of law and illuminate the entire tragic event that will clearly inform the public the vulnerabilities of child predators.
   
   
5. Implore on PBS Kids, that the scientific method of research is much more successful utilizing a control. The control in this case is the proprietary vault of Fred Rodger’s footage and background, having zero instances of child endangerment for the forty or more years he worked with children in the same entertainment industry as Nickelodeon (albeit a different genre). Insist on PBSKids the necessity to open the proprietary vault of Fred Rogers for an open community driven scientific research, against child predators to exploit the commonly used method of ‘grooming processes’ or other methods by child predators. 6. For Nickelodeon to stitch these three organizations together; itself, PBSKids, and OSHA as a public benefit for North America to fight against child predators who flock to where children congregate, no matter the community. For these three organizations to work unanimously together in research, development and implementation of exploiting the vulnerable techniques predators use when fantasizing about hurting children, and later making their nightmares realized. Releasing findings, being open to public discussion and financing this project as a public service for children and their parents to fight against child predators and the ways in which sexual assault takes place in various environments in an unstable world.
