On April 2nd, World Autism Day, Nickelodeon put up a post on Instagram with a statement involving Autism Speaks. After receiving backlash, they took down the post but didn’t apologize, instead deleting comments that asked them too. Nickelodeon can take the time to stand up for racial injustice, but they cannot apologize for supporting Autism Speaks, which is a hate organization against autistic people. If they want equality for all, then they need to apologize for their actions.
