Happy New Year to you all. Let us hope that 2017 will be the year that sees the much needed change we want so badly to the GBS testing and information regime here in the UK. On that front, I am very pleased to tell you that we have a date set of 23 January 2017 for delivery of this petition to the Department of Health in Whitehall. Scott and I, along with our MP Matthew Pennycook and Sir Nicholas Soames MP (who has long been a speaker and supporter for the GBS campaign) will attend with Jane Plumb MBE, CEO of the charity Group B Strep Support to hand over all of your signatures. Before that date though, we still have a few weeks for a final push to try and get the number of signatures up to an amazing QUARTER OF A MILLION!! We are so close – less than 200 to go. Your support has already been phenomenal - it would be astonishingly fantastic if we could just get to 250,000 signatures. Please do share the GBS message and this petition one last time in the first two weeks of January and thank you for your amazing support.
