Hi all please can you write to your MP and ask them to speak with Norman Lamb about this discussion he had on House of Commons on ATUs and transforming care? The house was empty. All MPs including my useless on did not bother about. So if I ask you please to inform your MPs about transforming care and ATUs and Norman Lamb work in it. Work he has been doing with me and various other parents. As well as mencap and the challenging behaviour Foundation. This work must go on. And we need your help to get your MPs to the House of Commons in October. Thanks darlings. Much love you all. Thank you so much for always being here supporting. Xx. Leo. This is an email I sent him. Email sent to Jeremy Corbyn. So angry at the man. And I have asked Islington gazette to do a report on it. Lol. Dear Jeremy let me start by saying how very very disappointed I am that you did not go to the transforming care debate. Yesterday 5 July with Norman Lamb. I emailed you asking to to please attend. And you met with me various times, alone you met me and Dan scorer a year ago and you promised you would discuss ATUs my son and transforming care and twice now you had the opportunity to use your power of the leading opposition to speak about my son and others but you have ignore this issues and this abuses of my son and so many others. Over and over. One of my friends who’s an amazing campaigner and a mum to a son who was in an institution, her MP showed up and spoke out for my friends son and her constituents, but where were you? As usual this issues within the Labour Party has no agenda , it’s like you don’t care. That our most vulnerable autistic people and LD have no place in our society, and you proved it by not attending and supporting Norman Lamb. You know I know now who I will vote next and ask my friends to vote for, it’s a national scandal what has been happening, and the person who should have been speaking and talking about my son was not you. It was Norman. And especially Dame Cheryl Gillian She never met me but she spoke about me and my son. I never have had the pleasure of meeting her and telling her about my child or indeed about 2;900 people stuck in ATUs and being abused, I never told her what St Andrews in Northampton and Oaktree Manor priory has done to my son, but she took the time to find out about me and my boy, but my own MP did not care enough to attend a very very important debate knowingly that he’s constituent has been locked out in two different hospitals and has had horrible things done to him, and my MP does not care that Winterbourne View was 7 years ago and yet it’s still happening. It’s a really shameful attitude. A great shame that a major party Leader did not think that stories like he’s constituent are very important for dramatic changes in the nhs social care , and how the government needs to be more proactive and give exact figures on what is happening in transforming care, what my MP cares is well to be quiet frank I don’t know what my MP stands for. And therefore don’t know if or what he cares,And that is incredibly sad. So I took the liberty of sending you the debate. I do hope you take 5 minutes of your busy time to watch it. Best wishes. Leo.
