Stephen S A MLondon, ENG, United Kingdom
Jun 30, 2018
Hello all just passing to tell you about the mental health capacity act What I think of it. It’s Pants. I was asked to comment on what or how I feel about it.
So I did. And here’s my honest frank opinion on the subject.
And Stephen and a couple of thousand adults and children under it.
1 my son has been treated appallingly under the mental health act.
2 under the mental health act my son has been incarcerated not treated.
my son does not have cancer/god Forbid/ therefore he does not need treatment.
3 my son does not suffer from a mental illnesses, and again I say he does not belong in a mental institution.
4 due to my child being under the Mental Health Act, He has no rights. People can do to him whatever the hell they want.
5 all that MHA has done to my child is take us liberties way from him.
5 MHA has taken all of my rights to my child.
6 MHA or ATU has ever done is abuse my son’s human rights, therefore it should be scraped.
7 what MHA has done for my son has been to take way he’s fundamental right to say no, say no to I don’t want a chemical cosh to be inflicted upon me.
Because the RC /et the management can do is we hold the rights to chemically and physically abuse this young persons rights.
8 What MHA has done to my son is a gross violation of my sons human and family rights.
And the abuse of power by the responsible clinicians, and managers.
9 what the mental health has done for my son is letting my son being physically verbally mentally and chemically abused and no accountability.
No one has ever been punished for the inhuman way my son has been treated.
10 MHA has stopped me and my family and my youngest child to connect with my son.
My son has been in a lock down 24/7 without the rights to see he’s younger loving sibling,To touch he’s sibling, and with that being accused of grievous bodily harm.
11 What MHA Has done for my child is putting him in danger.
What has done to him is being attacked and robbed of he’s belongings. Reporting him to police for attacking he’s baby brother, A. lie.
12 What MHA has done is keeping my son under Lock and key for over 5 years.
13 if my son had gone to prison he would have served he’s sentence within two years.
14 MHA has done for my son is treating him with disrespect
And without any dignity.
15 What MHA has done for my son is violating he’s right to have me as he’s mum to give him a voice. That voice many times has been challenging. Or challenged.
16 What MHA has done for my son has been to stop ATU having the right to me taking a basic photo of my son.
The MHA gives power to ATU to stop us parents to take our phones our cameras In to the building, any milestone on our children lives are not recorded.
By parents ME
However they can do whatever to my child and get way with it. Even taking photos or videos of my child for that they don’t ask permission.
But if I take a picture of my child I am accused of breaking rules and regulations, and if I fail to comply with that I am threatened by stopping me visiting my child.
I read the MHA no where there does it say hospital can stop parents taking photos or taking a mobile phone in.
If I break those rules the law is on their side. And they use The MHA as an excuse. They make the rules as they go.
And they used data protection. Question is who’s protection are they using? Or thinking of?
It certainly not if my son.
17 MHA has done for my son is stopping him having a fundamental education, ever child no matter what their abilities may he have the right to an absolute and fundamental important education life, if a young person does not go to school he she will be in trouble, but my son has not had an education since age 17.
Where was the MHA here?
Where was he’s rights?
To be educated to go to school?
18 Where Was MHA when we needed it?
19 What is the point of it?
20 Why do we need it?
If it’s there to protect any human being , where had it been in the last 5half years?
Where was the people who thought putting my severely autistic son under section when he needed them?
Why ? What was the point?
What has it really done for my son?
What did St. Andrews hospital and Oaketree manor have done for my son?
What is it they can show that they actually made a fundamental difference in my sons life?
Can they ATUs account for that? Can they honestly say they made a fundamental change?
Can they actually say they helped my son? Can they say under the MHA they kept my son safe?
I looked after my son alone for 16 years. Not once did I take my son to an emergency room , with any kind of injury.
All Of this years in ATUs my son has had numerous visits to emergency rooms I would say thousands of visits. Where was he’s MHA to protect him?
If my son under my care had gone to AE even if it was half a dozen times I would have been called to accountability. And who knows maybe even arrested, but my son has been abused at the hands of poorly paid and trained staff and no one was made accountable.
So tell now why do we need our children to be under MHA that is there to protect them, but don’t?
This are my thoughts of the MHA.
