Dear supporters just passing to give you an update on a few things I have been involved with. Also have some news. But I will let you know about that on a later date.
First of after 3:8 months of trying to get seen by Jeremy Corbyn I have finally been sent an appointment to see him this Friday at 3:30 although assistent said if he can't make it will be left to her to see me. I made absolutely clear I won't see her, that it's imperative I see him. If he is not there I will leave,I told her that he had fobbed me off for a year half with my emails to him, and that I met him at his barbers of all places and he had promised to contact me but again nothing. So won't be good enough if he did not.
So fingers crossed.
Now other wonderful things I have been doing.
First of. Two weeks ago I and lots of other family members did an interview for channel 4 dispatches.
At mencap and CBF. The chalenging behavioural foundation.
It's looks great. Not sure yet when it will be on air.
Will let you know when I know.
Then last week was at a conference here in islington organised by Katie Clarck of a small charity stronger together
We met with people from NHSE on how to make quality checks work. E.g. Cqc inspections.
We are working on a plan and business design service model to work better for parents and people with learning disabilities Or Autism.
So quiet excited about that.
So those are some of the things I wanted to let you know.
Like I said I have other news but I will let you in suspense, will post an update soon on that once things are more clear. Thank you guys. Keep please supporting
On another note I am running a marathon 10k for Mancap this Saturday. Wish me luck I will need it.
Also if I may be so bold and ask you wonderful people if you can please support CBF they are a small charity not founded by the government and they are running out of money. And closing some services to parents. It's very sad. As they are amazing and so foundamental in helping families with autism and those who are in ATUS. Assessment treatment units /unfortunately they are not able to help lots of parents as more and more coming to them for help. Please help as little or as generous as you can. Thank you so much. Leo.
