Hello everyone hope you are well and healthy. On way to visit Stephen. A week last Sunday I visited Ste. He was so overwhelmed with sensory overload, he could not cope with it. And as soon as I got to the gates as I waited to greet him he head butted me. A black eye and bump in forehead and bruises on my arms and a kick to my legs 5 minutes later , visit was cut short. It was just to much for him. It was his way of expressing I am Unhappy mummy and I want to go home, I mean who wouldn't right? If you are incarcerated through no fault of yours, because you are severely autistic then indeed you going to be very upset, if you going to be in a prison without you having a say and wipit your own wishes being heard, then by god you going to express any way you can get me the hell at from this hell. This is hell. This is how Uk treats it's vulnerable people. Autistic people. By encarcerating them and drugging them because it's so much simpler to deal with autism in an inhuman way and drugging an prone restrain , and misuse the tax payer money by treating my son Stephen and Eden Norris. Aidan and Eddie and 2:500 hundred others by locking them up in institutions and letting these institutions do whatever the heck they want with our son's and daughter,s because they are out of site out of mind,, then evidently the cost does not come in to it. But indeed it comes in to it if you as a parent asking and begging for help and support, before you are at your wits end, and no help comes, take a very dear friend of mine for instance, her son has been out on an institution for a year, but no help has been offered or given to this mum actually cut that , two mums, they provide care all alone for their son and daughter, up to 20 hours a day , without any help. But they were happy to pay a hospital 250 miles way and 50 miles way at the great cost of £12;00 a week. So what the hell is going on you may want to scream at this idiots who run the NHSE Talk of which Simon Stevens has not bothered as of yet contacting me about the other petition Under the lock and key enough is enough. No he has not why? Because could it be that quiet frankly he is a coward? Could it be because he and Ms Cummings haven't really done anything as promised two years ago to getting people out of institutions? Could it be because CTPs haven't really been successful ? Why you may ask, it's not successful because to many bureaucrats at the table. And they go over and over and nothing is done , all they doing is wasting more money off NHS, that is all. Now back to Stephen. CTR were all done if you all remember back in December. All was put forward to every one concerned that all paper work packages of care should all be done by march. It was. Cost and all put forwards. But there's a hold up. A hold up I have no idea for! Or why. Both providers offers were put on the table. But I have only heard of one provider being more on the picture, the other I was informed they have not heard anything from my local authority about their proposed package of care,So it seems that things got to a stand stil. Reason I have no idea of, now it's June now. Ste was suppose to leave Oaketree manor by first to second week of August. But I don't see it happening. As it seems someone is dragging their heels. Who I have no idea. All I know is my son is deteriorating every day that goes by. And nor Simon steves nor islington nor the atu nor anyone one else knows how it's making me ill to see my son in that state. The heartbreaking moments when my poor son holds on to me for dear life so I can bring him home, all his self harming becoming more and more. And more drugs being piled inside him. And this is so familiar to so many of my friends this luck of understanding and luck of getting things done yesterday. So rant over. Please wish me luck today. I so hope I can spend more then 5 minutes with my son today. As this trip will be a 6 hour round trip. Bus tube train taxi. Reminds me of trains planes and automobiles film. lol.
