Over the past few years South Shropshire has lost its local rapid response vehicles and ambulance hubs, 

Meaning in an emergency an ambulance has to come from Telford or Shrewsbury over 45 minutes away which in an emergency is to long.

Recently emergency ambulances have taken between 1 to 5 hours to get to patients in South shropshire

In January Our 12 month old daughter was fitting and unable to breath for 15 minutes it took over 40 minutes for an ambulance to arrive ,,that's 40 minutes with no emergency help at all 

On this occasion there were no Shropshire, Telford or wrekin ambulances available as they were stuck outside a&e ,one had to come from another county.

How ever regardless of where the ambulances have to come from shrewsbury , Telford,  Hereford,  Birmingham,  Wolverhampton they all take around 1 hour to arrive in ludlow South Shropshire 

For a heart attack , stroke , and other emergency this is to long 

People are suffering and dying as a result of poor management and cost cutting and the situation is now beyond breaking point 

Anyone of us could need to use this service at some point so to help protect and save your loved ones ,friends ,family and neighbours 

We are asking for an ambulance hub back in ludlow south shropshire and the return of local rapid response vehicles who can be on call or based at local areas like ludlow hospital ,gp surgery  , fire station , to attend until an ambulance arrives
