ADD SECURITY AT BOTH NEWTON, MA HIGH SCHOOLS!

The Issue

The Problem: Denial “It can’t happen here”

Yes it can! —enhanced security has become the new reality for schools across the country.

Safety and security for students and staff should be important at both Newton North & Newton South High Schools! It should be more important than ever to properly identify all visitors on our school grounds an restrict all visitors who are unwelcome.

NPS are not immune to what is happening in schools everywhere.

Violence, sexual harassment, statutory rape, drugs, weapons, gangs, bombs, shootings, murders, computer hacking, theft, irate parents, and violence in students’ homes.

Let’s stop protecting our image and concerns of disrupting students daily routines. We can have it all and should make it happen.

We can’t trust research! Let’s lock all doors and demand Security be put in place.
