Internet Blackout on Sudan! You will be seen!

The issue

Currently in Sudan, people are being silenced. No one can get in or out, and no one in the western world is reporting on it, or spreading their awareness and support.

The Dictator who ruled the country for nearly 30 years, stepped down in April. It was then decided that Sudan would have a transitional government for 2 years led by the Transitional Military Council until a new leader is elected. Since then, there has been a 2 month massive peaceful protest ‘sit’ demanding for civilian rule. Until last week. Last week the RSF (Rapid Support Forces) violently attacked and shot demonstrators. This was during the holy month of Ramadan.

Estimated over 100+ deaths, with 650+ injured. It’s still happening. Bodies are being tossed in the Nile river. Women and children are being brutally raped. People are being urinated on, tortured, made to drink sewage water. Stopping muslims from going to Eid Prayer.

This isn’t a racism, homophobic, sexist or anything like that. This is a basic HUMANITARIAN issue that needs to be resolved.

Currently there is little to no media coverage, as Sudan tries to black out the internet. Let’s set it free. If this was happening to you and your country, you’d want people to care, so don’t let those less fortunate than you lose their lives. Let’s get the media to report on this. Raise awareness, raise support. Currently no money can be sent over there so the only thing we can do is get the media’s attention.
