Thank you all once again, for supporting Hibiscus Caribbean Elderly Association (HCEA)  Appeal to retain its premises licence. The legal process is unfolding much as expected with all of HCEA's documentation being presented on time, and in keeping with the Court's directions. Newham Council is not managing to keep to the Court's Directions, which required it to submit its witness statements  to Hibiscus by today 15 April. Newham Council is now requesting that Hibiscus agrees to  extend their submission date to 21 April. This has not been agreed to, and it has been drawn to their attention that the responsibility for agreeing to submit their witness statements on a public bank holiday lies solely with them.
