NCC have compiled a list of FAQs as promised and it's worth a read. It is posted on their main website Newcastle.gov.uk/roads. It is a detailed document and sets out some of the background to the current proposal as well as putting NCCs view on some of the alternatives. I don't agree with many of the responses it but at least this allows a debate on an informed basis and the chance to pose challenges to assertions or assumptions.
