A reminder to join us this evening, 2nd February, outside Newcastle Civic Centre to oppose ongoing development in wildlife corridors and on Green Belt in Newcastle. 

We had requested to address the full city council at this evening's meeting, but the Council has refused to answer our question as to why they are allowing the city's green spaces and wildlife corridors to be decimated by overdevelopment.

Their refusal is wholly undemocratic, given the public interest in the matter.

A big presence outside the Civic Centre will send a clear message that we will not be silenced. This way we can catch city councillors as they head into the meeting.
