Newcastle City Council will decide on the controversial Newcastle Great Park application (2017/0666/09/RES) on Friday 3rd December.

We will gather outside Newcastle Civic Centre from 10am to show the level of public opposition to the plans, which undermine local democracy and set a dangerous precedent for the preservation of wildlife and green space in Newcastle.

We will be presenting this petition, which has been signed by more than 14,000 people, ahead of the meeting. Can you help us reach 15,000 signatures by Friday 3rd December?

A big presence outside the Civic Centre will send a clear message that the destruction of nature and green space will not be tolerated.
