Newcastle City Council must formally notify Newcastle Great Park Consortium of its decision to grant planning permission by issuing a written decision notice.

We had anticipated this would be issued on Friday 21st December, however, there is still no sign of a decision notice. 

Under the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015, the council must also give notice of the decision to every individual who has commented on the application.

As soon as we are notified, we will begin legal proceedings.

We may not be the only party taking legal action against this unlawful decision.
