We understand Newcastle City Council's planning committee visited the application site yesterday.

It would therefore appear likely the fateful decision will be made on Friday 14th December. 

We know there is no chance the plans will be refused.

In fact, one Castle Ward councillor said at a parish council meeting last night that the council had 'no option but to accept planning applications'.

We still need a strong public presence at the meeting so please come along and show your opposition to the plans.
