Newcastle Great Park Consortium has submitted further information relating to the environmental impact of proposed development for Cell A/B1 of Newcastle Great Park.

In response to concerns we raised about inappropriate development in the Green Belt and the threat of legal action, the plans have now been amended to remove the proposed pavilion and associated access track and parking areas from the Green Belt within Cell B1 and relocate them to Cell A.

The playing fields and associated fencing are still intended to be located in Cell B1, in the Green Belt, however, a reduction in the length and change in the route of the fencing has been proposed.
