The formal planning application for Newcastle Great Park’s proposals for 1,200 houses adjacent to Havannah Nature Reserve will be submitted to Newcastle City Council at the end of January – in two weeks. We need to get as many objections to the application as possible if we are to get better protection for wildlife in and around the reserve. The more signatures we have on the petition, the more potential we have to get direct objections to the council when the application goes in. Please spread the word.
