Horrific Child Abusers Get Bail!

Our Precious Children Deserve Better!

On the 29th of January 2020, a little 4-year old boy was found by the Police with horrific injuries that covered his entire body. He had sustained a head injury so severe it caused significant brain damage. This was not the first time the little boy from Ramsey Crescent in Flaxmere had been hurt.

As a parent, a grandparent, a human being I was absolutely horrified to think two grown adults were capable of such brutality. It took the Police a year to make an arrest due to the empty silence of those willing to hide the truth and protect these perpetrators.

Two grown adults, a woman (32) and a man (27) were arrested for the alleged assault of the young boy. His tiny life meant absolutely nothing to these two cowards. They should be utterly ashamed of what they have done and take full responsibility for their violent actions. Why - because there are NO excuses for child abuse!

When reading the article below I was shocked and ashamed. Ashamed that our Justice System has AGAIN lost its focus, forgetting the true value of a child's precious life. Our country has one of the WORST levels of child abuse, child homicide and family harm violence in the developed world.

When you read that these two violent perpetrators have more rights than they innocent victim they choose to harm you start to understand why! I know child abuse is a very complex issue - but accountability is not. Both perpetrators should NOT be on Bail.

Our justice system needs to STOP protecting the abuser and START protecting the vulnerable child! Bail should NEVER be used for violent child abusers!
