I cannot stress enough that you also need to be calling your elected officials to express your dissatisfaction with the current situation. I also encourage all of you to contact local newspapers, radio stations and TV stations to make them aware of the situation, and ask that they cover the story. And, please keep sharing the petition across any social media networks that you are on.

I know a lot of the folks who have signed are from the Buffalo area. If you're from up there, or anywhere else in the state outside of the Southern Tier, it is equally as important, if not more so, that you call your elected officials and news agencies as well! It needs to be made clear that the impact of these changes impacts a greater area than just the Southern Tier.

The way to effect change is through persistence and consistency. At this point, no decision makers have even come to the table, so we need to lean into this harder in the coming week!
