Justice For Brandon Hendricks

Justice For Brandon Hendricks
The Issue
Brandon Hendricks was a 17 year old basketball player who just recently graduated from James Monroe High School in The Bronx, NY on June 26, 2019. He had many D1 scholarships and was loved by his coach, family and friends. On June 28, just 2 days after graduating, he was at a birthday party in Morris Heights when shots began to fire. At around 11:50 p.m, Hendricks was shot in the neck. Him and his friend Hammad “Bam” Singleton fled the scene. Brandon’s last words were “Bam I love you. Call my mom.” before he was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital and pronounced dead. We, as human beings, cannot let this happen. This may or may not have been a racially profiled attack (most likely not because The Bronx is very ethnic and diverse), he was still a human being with so much more life to live and it’s another black life taken. Please sign this petition because we need justice for this beautiful soul. This has barely been covered in the media in other states besides here in New York and the news isn’t covering this case as much as when this first happened so this is very important. Fly high, Brandon. Your name can’t be forgotten.
