I have some additional news to share—this time it’s positive! MetLife, a major supporter of the New York Blood Center, has issued a statement calling on NYBC to provide financial support for the chimpanzees it used and abandoned in Liberia. MetLife also said they will withhold additional support for NYBC until a solution is found. MetLife is the second NYBC supporter to take such an action.
