We are requesting the New Ulm city council re-evaluate the decision to discontinue the garlands adorning our downtown. We believe the garlands should continue to be a part of New Ulm’s festive holiday downtown, which helps drive people to our local businesses . We’re asking the city council to take more time to evaluate this and/or other options, before discontinuing this time-honored tradition.
