Meeting with City Council: TOMORROW!

Supporters,

Thank you so much for signing our petition. On Friday, we demonstrated outside of the circus, and this was a sobering reminder of exactly what we are fighting for. From across the fence, we could see two elephants. One elephant consistently stood with its back right foot lifted, suggesting an injury. Both elephants constantly swayed back and forth while standing, which is a clear sign on mental distress. These animals looked miserable, as well as the ponies that were being used for pony rides. This all goes to show why animal circuses should have no place in our community. 

Tomorrow, Wednesday May 8th, we will be presenting our petition to the Las Vegas City Council. For this reason, we really need your help. This is the final push of the petition. Even if you have already signed, please share, and reshare the petition. The more signatures it has, the more compelling it is. It is local action like this that will ultimately result in the liberation of these animals.
