All of the discs should be Blu-ray discs.

Each of the films should be released separately in 3-disc sets, as well as in 9-disc trilogy-specific complete sets and an 18-disc complete set that comprise of the individual 3-disc sets in special collector's boxes. The special collector's box for 'The 'The Lord of The Rings' Trilogy' should have this image on it: https://tanejamainhoon.files.wordpress.com/2014/01/lotr.jpg.

These releases should contain all of the previous extras from all of the previous home video releases of the films.

On the 1st disc of each film, both the theatrical cut and the extended cut of that particular film should be included, as well as all of the audio commentaries for that particular film and all of the trailers, TV spots, & radio spots for that particular film. There should be new 2-part extended cuts for each of the films that use even more deleted footage, which should be referred to as "The Definitive Cuts" and which should also be included on the 1st discs for the films. For 'The Hobbit: The Battle of The Five Armies', there should be alternate versions of the extended cuts that aren't R-rated.

If Peter Jackson did any introductions for any of the previous home video releases of the films, they should all be included in these sets.
