Speed Cameras Ruled Out - link from the Lymington Times

I cannot for the life of me work out why Hampshire County Council even got involved in the run up to the Feasibility Study when they knew their criteria of 'number of human fatalities' would never be met although at least the authorities now know what they are up against, practically and maybe financially, should they try again.

It was your signatures that pushed the New Forest District Council into supporting the Feasibility Study and I will never be able to thank you enough for that, or the support you gave me over Juma's death and the prosecution of the young man that killed him.

At the moment, I am out of ideas about how a single, independent  human, who is considered to be an outsider, and no longer has any ponies on the Forest, can get these authorities to listen or engage with me. I had to drag information even out of the nicest Councillor. To be honest, I'm finished for now.

31 road traffic collisions with animals across the Forest so far this year but far fewer on Roger Penny Way itself.

Do you want me to keep you informed or shall I close the petition?
